Emanager is a
web- based event manager designed for organizations that need to remotely manage personnel scheduling
over the internet. With any standard web browser, employees can log into Emanager, access their own schedule, and record
the hours and place they have worked. Company announcements and public events are displayed upon login to all employees, facilitating
communication between line and management staff.
Administrative Features: Administrators can access all employess schedules, make necessary changes, and
lock records. Emanager also features a comprehensive online company address book, with customizable contact types and
business categories, which easily integrates with standard webmail features.
Other Features: Employee and company calendar supports monthly, weekly, and daily viewing,
as well as individual summaries of events. Mass email, company address book, password changes, employee profiling, and
unlimited user accounts are all included. Events can easily be rescheduled, cancelled, completed, locked and updated.
Emanager supports all major U.S. and international holidays, including Jewish holidays. All data is stored in one MySQL
database.
Requirements: This software package consists of a series of Perl scripts, and requires no non-standard
Perl Modules. It is designed to run on the Apache web server with Perl 5 and can install into any available MySQL database.
Unix/Linux OS are supported and recommended. A PHP version and online working demo are in the works, so please
