Envision Blog
Envision Blog is a web logging application, also known as a blog. All over the internet, blogs
are becoming a more and more popular way for people to express their ideas and update their web content frequently,
without having to be a web expert or rely on a webmaster for site updates. Through a simple web form interface, a blogger
can log in and easily add copy to their site, run an online journal, or communicate their own unique perspective.
Absolutely no knowledge of web design or HTML is necessary.
Features: Envision Blog designates a page of your site to show the current blog entries.
The number of blog entries currently displayed is based on the date published, and you can easily specified how many
current entries to show. An archive section allows old blog entries to be accessed on your site. Blog entries are
archived and filed according to the month they were published. Each blog entry can show one of sixteen custom icons.
BBCode is supported for easy text formatting, and HTML support can be enabled for the more seasoned web professional.
All blogged data is stored in a MySQL database, and any entry can easily be updated, deleted, or discontinued from your
site. Image upload, blog search, and category filing will be available in the next version.
Requirements: This software package consists of 2 PHP scripts. It is designed to run on the
Apache web server with PHP 4 and can install into any available MySQL database.
Unix/Linux OS are supported and recommended. An online working demo is in the works, so please
stay tuned. Contact us for immediate availability or further inquiries.
